We are now planning the 80th Anniversary Celebration and hope you will join us. There will be wine, beer, and hors d’oeuvres after 4:30 pm Mass in the Parish Hall on Saturday, 20 September 2008. The Affton Days Festival is also scheduled for that day – it has become quite an event! If you are in a reminiscing mood, review the history of Affton and the history of our Parish.

SHF Photos Needed
We are collecting old (and not so old) pictures of SHF history to display at the Alumni Reunion. If you can contribute any pictures, you may send a scanned copy as a .jpg attachment to an e-mail. (Please do NOT embed in the e-mail or in a Word document as that causes a loss in resolution or quality.) Or, drop the original at the Priory in an envelope marked "Attn: Alumni Photo Display" with clear instructions as to how to return it to you. We will scan the photograph and return the original. Remember to include identifying information such as names, date, event, location, etc. along with the picture. Thank you!

If you have suggestions, comments, or wish to assist with the program, please e-mail the project coordinator at alumni@shfschool.org. We are considering a family picnic option on Sunday. Are you interested? We would also like to identify a lead contact for each class to assist with future communications and to help identify missing persons. SHF has about 3900 alumni and we have valid addresses for about 1500 persons. Can you help contact your classmates? |
