I welcome your child to Second Grade! I am happy to be able to teach your child. This is my 20th year teaching at Seven Holy Founders. I truly enjoy the children and feel blessed to be able to teach at such a wonderful school. Jesus is the center of our school and classroom. I am happy to be able to incorporate our faith in each lesson that is taught. I hope our classroom will be a place full of rich experiences, challenging projects, loads of achievements, growing faith, and lasting friendships.

Both parents and teachers have a commitment to educate our children. Here are some important goals to work on this school year:

to motivate your child
to build self-esteem in your child
to reach common goals together
to see that your child enjoys the mental, physical, spiritual, and social activities at school
to nuture and support your child
to see that your child reaches personal fulfillment
to see that your child learns and becomes responsible
to help your child know and live our Catholic faith

Our theme this school year is "Reach for the Stars". We can do great things together and can make the world a better place. With hard work and determination, we can become better people and learn as much as possible about our world and each other. To have hope in our lives and hearts we can be positive and productive humans. The children will be reminded of this theme often. To try our very best, "Reach for the Stars", and love as Jesus taught will be our most important lesson in Second Grade.
