Welcome to Miss Vernell's Classroom

Miss Vernell is a graduate of Missouri University Columbia. After teaching in New Jersey and being a secretary at the University of Colorado, Greeley, Kathleen returned to her roots at Seven Holy Founders, the very school that she attended as a youngster. After teaching fourth grade for many wonderful years, she happily found a new home with her eighth graders for 15 years. This year she will be teaching literature to the seventh and eighth graders, English to the seventh graders, and religion to the fifth graders. In 2008, the faculty honored her as an Affton Chamber of Commerce Exceptional Educator. Her spare time is filled with nephews, books, movies, travel, and great friends.
