Seven Holy Founders School † Welcome to Preschool

We were happy to welcome all the visitors to the Preschool Classroom at the Open House on Sunday, January 26.

We will continue to celebrate all week with a variety of activites. We are looking forward to meeting the Special Friends who will be joining our preschoolers on Monday for Mass and for lunch in the cafeteria.Tuesday is Crazy Hat day! On Thursday, we will be getting together with our Fourth Grade friends to read stories and play games. And Friday will be pajama day! It is going to be an exciting week!

SHF SOUPER BOWL

We will be collecting canned soups in order to help the St. Vincent de Paul Society feed needy families in our area. You will find boxes outside the classroom door for your donations. Thank you for your help with this important project!

Ahoy Matey's- Pirate Week was so much fun! Our Preschool Friends enjoyed walking the plank, searching for buried treasure, listening to pirate stories and singing pirate songs. We had a pirate ship in our classroom and sailed the seven seas in our quest for learning all about the letter Pp and the number 3!

The letter Qq and a book written by Marilyn Singer entitled Quiet Night inspired our camping adventure this week. As we read this story and others about camping the characters in each book discovered that a quiet night camping in the woods really isn't all that quiet!

Our Preschoolers enjoyed playing in the tents, building a campfire, toasting marshmellows and eating them, fishing in a stream, as well as discovering all kinds of bugs and reptiles in the sensory table. We studied rocks and pinecones through the magnifying glasses and told scary stories by the campfire!

We will also continue to work on recognizing and writing the numbers 1-9. We find many ways throughout the day to practice counting!
