As we strive to update and improve our school each and every day, there is one special area that always gets better and better every year. After 16 years of dedicated service, Mrs. Barbara Fields only gets better with time. She is our featured teacher this week.

Mrs. Fields has a truly remarkable love and understanding of the children and has loved each and every year of teaching Kindergarten here at SHF School. She and her husband, George, have one daughter, Melissa, a 2001 graduate of SHF School.

Mrs. Fields finds every day to be a joy working with the kids and having our “Kindergarten Angel”, Mrs. Margie Simon, at her side to help create a fun, creative, warm and welcoming learning environment in the classroom. Many parents have grown to appreciate her hard work and burning desire to make every day a special day.

If you have a little one and want to find a special place to start them off, then look no further. Mrs. Fields and Mrs. Simon are second to none. Our Kindergarteners enjoy gym, art, music, Spanish and library. All of these are provided by our own faculty and staff. Writing this down makes me wish I could go back to Kindergarten. Someone once wrote, “Put Kindergartners in charge of the world and there would be no problems.” We are lucky to have Mrs. Fields and there are no problems!
