Thank you to all the parents and students who showed up for Packet Sunday last Sunday. It was a great way to start meeting you and being with the students. My thanks go out to all those people who volunteered to make it a great success!!!

We started school very smoothly on Wednesday with 300 students. Everything seemed to go well. Parents were looking forward to seeing their sons and daughters begin the new school year, students were looking forward to meeting their teachers and seeing their friends again and the teachers were anxious to meet and greet their students and begin the learning process. I made a visit to each class and talked to the students. Slowly but sure, I will put names to faces.

Many people have asked me what they can do for the School. I tell them that we are still looking for volunteers to help at recess and lunch time, donations of tennis balls (new or used) for the legs of the desks and to use the Office Depot 5% Back to Schools Program. By using our ID number (70057664), Seven Holy Founders School receives credits equal to 5% of qualifying purchases to use for free supplies. During the period from April 1 - June 30 we received a credit in the amount of $46.53. It is an easy way to make a donation to the school.

There are still openings in all the grades. If you know of anyone looking for a great school, please recommend Seven Holy Founders.

On Wednesday, September 3rd at 8:00 am , I will be hosting the first Breakfast with the Principal in the Parish Hall. All are welcome to attend, most importantly school families.

Please remember that our first full day of school begins on Tuesday, September 2nd.
