Welcome to the Seven Holy Founders School Board page.

The purpose of the board is to advise the pastor in making policy for the parish school. The following are the functions of the board:

Establishing the philosophy and goals for the parish school.
Interpreting and applying the policies of the Archdiocese.
Formulating additional policies which may be necessary.
Evaluating the implementation of policies.
Recommending approval of the budget through the Christian Education Commission.
Recommending to the pastor the employment of the principal.
Planning long-range community relations.

Membership: The School Board consists of the Pastor, the Principal, and elected members. Members are elected by the Parish and serve three-year terms. In addition, the Pastor may appoint two persons to the Board.

School Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month during the school year, and usually take place at 7:00pm in the Board Room of the Parish Center. Please check the school calendar for meeting dates and times. Meetings are open to all.

School Board News

May 2008 - Seven Holy Founders would like to thank all of the candidates for School Board. The parish community has elected Mrs. Cory Barry, Mrs. Judy Maddock, and Mr. Paul Tillman to serve as School Board members for the next three years. We would also like to thank those members who are completing their time on School Board: Mr. Jeff Branson, Mrs. Karen Kinealy, Mrs. Carolyn Placht, and Mrs. Cathy Valenza.

May 2007 - We would like to thank our outgoing School Board members for their years of service to the school: Mrs. Albers, Mr. Creamer and Mrs. Gerontes. We appreciate all that you have done. We welcome our new School Board Members: Mrs. Rodriguez, Mrs. Polizzi and Mrs. Pallme. Each new member has a three year term on the Board.

October 2006 - Bridge the Gap
The School Board kicked off the Bridge the Gap program at the Open House on October 7th/8th. This letter explains why the program is needed and how parents can participate.
