Start Here First Preschool has its foundation in Christian values. Our educational and religious philosophy concentrates on the full advancement of the child. This type of program draws together the resources in the community (both family and professional) that contribute to the total development of the individual child: spiritual, emotional, social and psychological.
Since family is fundamental to the child's total development and we are all members of the Family of God, we stress the value system, which helps the child to further academic and personal growth while maintaining freedom and control. Our program will also provide a means to assist parents in their understanding of their child's progress and provide them with the opportunity to enhance parenting skills.
Start Here First Preschool strives to achieve an atmosphere which will foster and promote child-to-child interaction through participation in play, art, and song, by means of the teachers’ instructions and/or demonstrations.
Our preschool provides your child with a rich and nurturing environment, encouraging learning and exploring while preparing them for kindergarten, and includes once-a-week Music and P.E. classes.
The preschool is now housed in the main school building, giving the preschoolers and their parents more of the SHF community spirit.
We offer many attendance options, from twice a week to every day, full-day or half-days, offering you flexibility and convenience. |
