In May of 2009 a WeatherBug Tracking Station was installed on the roof of the school. The WeatherBug Tracking Station is a state of the art weather monitoring system. It's built to withstand all kinds of weather and records 27 different real-time weather measurements. Its live weather data is fed into Weatherbugs's online educational program, WeatherBug Achieve, as well as WeatherBug, WeatherBug.com and broadcasters.
WeatherBug Achieve is an online teaching tool that uses live weather data and images to engage students in learning. It provides an innovative way to improve student achievement in math, science, geography, technology and more using the live weather readings from the world's largest weather network.
